Rooster just totally freaked OUT. He was getting all worked up pacing back and forth in front of his desk, stepping over the piles of clothes he collects on the floor of his “office,” and moaning, oh my god, how could you do this? Why don’t you listen to me when I tell you these things? (These things being the fact that one should never log on to an unsolicited online banking site using our real user name and password).
Rooster is torn between loving his new online banking system and fearing that our identities will be stolen if I become involved. “We’re screwed Chicken,” he said about my supposed online snafu (which I still think was legit). But all I could think of was, hey, he’s still calling me Chicken! He can't be that mad. Because only when fights are really heartfelt does a nickname prone couple fall into use of the dreaded first name. Although if I had known Chicken would propel us through 2 years (and counting) of marriage, I maybe would have cultivated one that was a bit more melodious.

The Rules: Nutrisoda. the energy enhanced energy beverage is asking for recipes that include the drink.
Judging Criteria: Originality, creative use, integration or pairing of Nutrisoda in a recipe.
The Prize: Two round-trip, coach class tickets on American Airlines, a two night stay at the W Hotel on Lexington Street and two tickets to the James Beard Foundation Award Ceremony in May 2008. Also included is a spa treatment at the Nutrisoda Chef Spa Oasis, attended only by the nominees of the James Beard Foundation awards.
