It is official. Sandra Lee, the blonde beauty queen of the Food Network, will be sharing the screen with a short, round-around-the-edges, Chicken!
Semi-Homemade with Sandra Lee is flying me to New York City on February 7th for a February 8th taping. I'm deadly excited about meeting Ms. Lee and getting to go all wide-eyed and ga-ga at the Food Network studios. An added bonus: the producers have given me the okay to extend the departure date, so I get to visit with BFF Blondie and see my little cousins, who at 16 and 11 are not so little after all. The cousins, although they haven't said boo about it, have been the victims of the Chicken's Chanukah gift-giving delinquency for almost 2 months now. The post office has been alluding me, and so I'm heading to New York City with a little Jewish guilt hanging over my head. Seems appropriate given all the bagels I intend to eat there.
