It's only a Runner Up, but this is the first time I've scored in a food mag contest so I feel like I have arrived.Cajun Oyster Po'Boy was the ticket, and after the magazine gives me the go ahead, I'll publish the recipe (or at least link to the published site). The dish is oh so appropriate since I'm about to head to New Orleans at the end of the month for Dad's "when I'm 64"th birthday. And yes Dad, we will still need you and still feed you...Po'Boys!
The prize is a $75 gift certificate which I get to use at the cute little natural food store up the street. Rooster will be so happy. He loves going on natural food binges.
