Pillsbury IV

Not all lullabies are soothing. While my mother has been coaching me in the arts of James Taylor and Bob Dylan, she also let slip a song from her own childhood.  It's from England in the 1880s during a time when children had thicker skin. Mom insists it was cooed lovingly, but the lyrics are just disturbing enough that it never made it into her own mothering repertoire.

After hearing it, I don't think Baby Bird will get a taste either. This new Pillsbury creation on the other hand, that's a different story!
