Pillsbury II

Weird things have been happening in our kitchen. My first 4 weeks of maternity leave were spent on the couch. I know babies are not debilitating, but when you've got a good excuse not to move-- if you're a chicken, you take it.

So there I was on the couch. And the food that the Grandmas made was fast fleeing our freezer. What was a girl to do?

Marry well.

Rooster has received the All-Around-Most-Remarkable-Husband award several times in our history. This month however, he made it into the Husbanding Hall of Fame. Taking assessment of the benched-Chicken situation, he donned a sling, took Baby Bird and started cooking for us.

Now that I've figured out that one can stand up and hold a baby at the same time, I've resumed my spot in the kitchen but with a new strategy. Since  little BB is fond of snacking and  prefers Bistro Mom over other brands, my focus is on fast and easy "drop everything to nurse" recipes. Huh...fast and easy-- could it be this was what Pillsbury's remarkable convenience products were intended for all this time?
