Really, how can I possibly get any bigger? In California my mother played the part of supportive you're-not-fat-you're-pregnant Super Mom. Just when I was beginning to gain some confidence, she introduced me to her French conversation group. So there we are, in mom's living room, and I'm talking to two very nice ladies, and mom is talking to two other ladies, and that cluster is talking in french. And then mom says, loudly, in English, "well, she's a little big but we can talk about that later." And I was like, "Umm, I'm standing right here, mom...and English is the language I do understand." No shame, my mother. No shame.
Here's a picture of me and Rooster on Halloween. I figured I'd just go for it and make a pumpkin face on my belly.
