Location: The Butterfly Classroom
Time: 8:03 a.m.
Situation:
- 1a) 3-inch black heels (name brand not recognized) in pile on floor outside classroom. Smart looking blonde with trim waist and nice black and white ensemble in classroom discussing sleep habits of 9-month old son. Sleep habits are positive. 9- month-old son smiling and in good humor.
- 1b) Chicken kicks off crappy flats. Enters classroom with kvetchy, teething baby. Chicken's shirt too small. Pants are draw-string and falling down.
- 2) Brunette in outfit similar to Chicken's. Daughter, with insane mop of brown hair, is rolling around on the floor, moaning.
- 3) Chicken and Brunette lock eyes. Peek surreptitiously at immaculate blonde. Smile at each other.
- 4) Mommies depart and head to work

Time: 5:35 p.m.
Situation:
- 5a) Chicken and Brunette find themselves together in classroom again. Immaculate blonde and angelic child nowhere is sight. Blonde probably works part time. (Bitterness ensues).
- 5b) Chicken and Brunette hold their children up to each other at eye-level. There appears to be snot on each child's face. Children touch hands.
- 5c) Hope flickers.
- 6) Chicken volunteers to become Room Parent. Access to parent phone numbers a definite lure...
