Rooster called me from his bike today to tell me that Off The Grid was over on Haight street this evening. Half a dozen ethnic food trucks gathered in one place? You can bet I fled work to be there. I wish I could say "fled work early" to be there, but alas.
From her car seat, BB shouted "rice!" as soon as she saw the food trucks, gracefully parked around an island of staggered folding chairs and some street musicians. Photographic food memory from last time we were at the trucks FIVE WEEKS AGO? That's my little foodie.
BB drank mango lassi and ate curried rice. We ate steamed buns with crispy tofu and greens from Chairman Bao, and some tasty tikka masala kathi rolls.

Aww, how cute, that must have been some delicious rice! I wish we had some decent food trucks by us - there's only one by where I work but it's pretty horrible and there's always a line for some reason.
