I always meant to write this post after I found time to go back to the theater and catch the end of the movie Avatar. But it is becoming clear that this is never going to happen. It was the day before Christmas, and even synagogues let their employees out at noon. Luckily for me, day cares don't (at least not BB's), so I scurried off to the movies with 16-year-old cousin Hannah. 2 hours and 15 minutes into the most amazing fantasy movie EVER, I get a call from day care. Thanks to my enrollment in Google Voice, I now get all my voice messages via text. Thanks to mommy-vision, I'm only able to read a single word off the screen: "fever."
There goes the movie.
I gave Cousin Hannah a $20 for a cab and hustled to rescue my sick baby. Who, oddly enough, didn't seem all that sick (102 aside). The next day we spotted the buds of 4, yes 4, new teeth on her top gums. Fever explained, and all my baby got for Christmas was her 4 front teeth. Ha!!
This whole post is really just an excuse to put up my two new BB pics. The top one is her pushing her cart-- we are expecting hands-free steps any day now. The one below is her at the Swedish Museum, dressed up like a Svensk Flicka.
Good thing she is too small to fight me.
