What I dig most about Rooster right now:- The way he likes to bend down, put his mouth right at my belly and shout "hello this is your daddy!"
- How he never gets tired of saying, several times a day, whenever I tell him I'm fat: "don't be starvin' my baby."
- That he has adjusted our former life philosophy of "everything 50-50" to "50-50 over a lifetime, and right now, Chicken, you get the full 100."
- His "oh yeah, tell me more" when I describe how I am home, in my jammies watching TV and eating apple slices at 5:30 p.m. when normal people are enjoying a post-work Happy Hour.
And now, my first MOM contest...the kid kicks enough for it to count as official.
