The Rules: Entry must include an original, unpublished regional pizza recipe that features a local ingredient or local flair from your area.
The Prize: Five (5) first prizes: A Bolla pizza prize pack that includes a DeLonghi pizza/toaster oven, pizza cutter, pizza peel, pizza stone and apron. Estimated value of the first prize is $200. One (1) Grand Prize: A trip for two to attend the International Pizza Championships in the summer of 2009 in either Naples, Italy, or Paris, France (location to be determined at later date), and a visit to Bolla’s home place in Verona, Italy.
Judging Criteria: All recipe and wine pairing entries will be judged on originality, taste and creativity by a panel of judges comprised of members of the U.S. Pizza Team, Bolla chefs and Brown-Forman/Bolla.
